Halvant respects user privacy. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

Account data (name, email), operational data you enter (shifts, jobs, incidents), and device data (GPS for clock-in, browser fingerprint for sessions).

2. How we use information

To provide the Service, enforce geofence rules, send notifications, and improve features. Aggregate, anonymized data may be used for benchmarking (opt-in only).

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Subprocessors include Stripe (billing), our hosting provider, and your email provider.

4. Your rights (CCPA/GDPR-aware)

Right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, and data portability. Email privacy@halvant.us to exercise these.

5. Retention

Operational data retained for the active term plus 12 months. Audit logs retained 7 years for compliance.

6. Security

Data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. MFA available. Strict tenant isolation at the data-access layer.
